The Pribilof Islands are a small cluster of four islands located in the Bering Sea about 300 miles off the western coast of Alaska. They are desolate, wind-swept places where the abundance of wildlife has made them visitor attractions despite the inhospitable weather. The four islands have two communities, St. Paul and St. George, consisting mostly of Aleut Indians.
