These trips are also offered in reverse, starting in Alaska and ending in Vancouver or Seattle. The best time for cruising is from June through September, and a few sailings are also available during the shoulder season in May and October.

Many cruise ships visit marine wonderlands like Glacier Bay National Park and Prince William Sound, where guests visit tidewater glaciers and watch them calve into the ocean.
