ATV Tours & 4 Wheeling
Head off road on an Alaska ATV tour. These guided tours are most popular in the Mat-Su Valley in Southcentral Alaska and in the wilderness areas outside Denali National Park & Preserve, getting you off the road system and into Alaska's backcountry. These open-air, all-terrain vehicles provide easy access to Alaska's rugged terrain, letting you go further and see more territory than you would on a typical hike. Experienced guides will lead you on a thrilling ride to scenic spots along the way, with time to take photos and stop to view wildlife.
Tours start with a short orientation and sometimes a practice drive before heading out on your backcountry adventure. Grab a helmet and drive your own ATV or hop on a 4x4 Jeep backcountry safari, which provides more comfort and protection. No matter which option you choose, be sure to dress for the elements. Jeep or ATV, most tour companies tailor the route and speed to suit the group's ability.
