Wrangell Mountain Air has been the leading provider of flight services in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park since 1992. Our base of operations in McCarthy is located at the end of the 60 mile long McCarthy Road and deep within Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Being located near the geographic center of the Park gives us easy and affordable access to what has been called “North America’s Mountain Kingdom.” For the adventurous, fly-in hiking & backpacking trips, rafting, glacier trekking, & wilderness camping are highly recommend as day, or multi-day adventures. We offer scheduled air service and day tours to McCarthy-Kennicott from Chitina, charter air taxi service from most towns throughout Alaska, and world-class flightseeing.
