North Words brings together aspiring writers from near and far to an intimate gathering in Skagway that includes workshops, panel discussions, readings, great food, and fun activities over four days at the end of May. For the 16th edition, we will welcome award-winning Pacific Northwest novelist Willy Vlautin as our keynote, along with six other writers working in various genres. Registration opens in November 2025 and closes two weeks before the conference dates: May 26-29, 2026
