Alaska's premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers & film crews to view the largest omnivores on earth, the legendary Kodiak Brown Bear. The KBBC provides a True Alaskan World-Class Bear Viewing Experience without boardwalks or large groups of tourists. Max group size is 6. The KBBC is located on Camp Island on Karluk Lake in the heart of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge on the southwest side of Kodiak Island 90 air miles from the city of Kodiak. Our guests observe these magnificent monarchs of Kodiak in their natural & unspoiled habitat. KBBC guests have proprietary & exclusive access to over 112,000 acres of privately owned prime bear habitat land in the heart of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. KBBC's parent company is Koniag, Inc.
