Sailing Lake Clark
Rates
Sail Lake Clark aboard Odyssey, our comfortable sailing catamaran for up to six guests. My wife Alison and I own Sailing Lake Clark and live in Port Alsworth. We are glad to share this place we call home with you. No sailing experience is needed.
Spend your days sailing, hiking to waterfalls, exploring shorelines by dinghy, or paddling a quiet bay by kayak or paddleboard. There is also plenty of time to sit on deck and enjoy the mountains. Your interests, the wind, and conditions help shape each day.
Odyssey has three queen guest cabins, each with one bed and a private bathroom. Reserve a cabin for two and share the boat, or book a private charter for your group of up to six. Overnight stays include the crew, meals, snacks, nonalcoholic drinks, shore outings, and use of our onboard recreation equipment.
Our guest season runs from the last week of June through the last week of September. Overnight trips can be reserved at any time, with three-night, six-night, and custom trips available. Six-hour day or evening sails are $1,800 for a private group of up to six guests. We begin taking day and evening sail bookings in mid-April for the coming summer.
Trips begin and end in Port Alsworth, reached by a small plane from Anchorage. We can also help arrange third-party floatplane fly-outs for bear viewing in Katmai or a visit to Dick Proenneke’s cabin at Twin Lakes. Flights, fly-outs, and alcohol are separate unless specifically included in your package. Get in touch and we will help you plan your time on the lake.
