Immerse yourself in a real long distance racing kennel! Owned
and operate by Iditarod veterans, Jeff Deeter and KattiJo Deeter. Come meet our
friendly, authentic, long distance racing dogs! Each year, these dogs run
thousands of miles, capping off the winter season by running in the 1,000 mile
Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Our tours are hands-on, interactive and feature
very small groups or can even be private. This allows us to personalize the
tour for you, and allow you to ask us whatever you’ve always wanted to know
about the sport of dog mushing. Learn to harness the dogs, and hook them up in
the team! In the winter, you’ll enjoy a scenic ride through Fairbanks’ remote
and beautiful hill country. Take in the views, and try driving the sled for yourself!
In summer, join us for a husky hike, or go dog mushing in our comfortable,
wheeled rig. Fun and safe for all ages!
