Michelle Collingridge is a writer and world traveler who followed her sense of adventure north to Alaska in 2021. With a background in journalism, academic writing, and travel, she brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her storytelling. She has contributed to dozens of Travel Alaska articles, often drawing inspiration from her own journeys hiking through the many serene and challenging paths of Alaska’s trails, berry picking, fishing, or enjoying the tranquility of oceanside towns. In addition to travel writing, Michelle has supported Alaska communities through grant writing, helping to share their stories and secure resources that sustain cultural heritage.
