Lindsey Middendorf
Lindsey Middendorf was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the Content & Brand Manager at the Alaska Travel Industry Association, overseeing content creation for TravelAlaska.com. After spending time out of state to pursue BA and MA degrees in English Literature, she moved back to Anchorage in 2014 to start a career in tourism marketing. She is passionate about writing about Alaska and promoting tourism in her beautiful state.
She has spent her life exploring the state while pursuing her favorite pastimes: traveling, hiking, running, camping, visiting public use cabins, and enjoying good food. She has hiked and ran countless miles in Chugach State Park and spends time walking, running, biking, or cross-country skiing Anchorage’s Coastal Trail almost every day. Her favorite places in Alaska are McCarthy & Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Katmai National Park, the Denali Highway, Hatcher Pass, and Girdwood.
