Wrangell is a charming small Alaskan town perfectly situated in the heart of the Tongass National Forest. Our island is the perfect jumping off place for adventures, access to wilderness, glaciers, wildlife and scenic wonders. Generous opportunities abound for photography of bears, whales, seals, sea lions, glaciers, eagles and lots of other birds. Our nearby Anan Wildlife Observatory is renowned for delivering outstanding opportunities for viewing and photographing both brown and black bears catching salmon along with multitude of eagles, seals and sealions. The Stikine River and surrounding wilderness offers a spectacular rugged Alaskan backdrop for watching and photographing many sought after bird species. Operators can custom design photo tours to meet your specific Alaska needs
