The Center is located just an hour south of Anchorage in Portage. Our facility offers a peaceful and scenic setting for the ultimate Alaska experience. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering, corporate event or a wedding, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is sure to delight. We have a variety of venues to choose from including Bison Hall, our Event Tent, and The Point. Bison Hall is a beautiful, barn-like building with a high vaulted ceiling that showcases wood beams, a moose antler chandelier and large windows allowing natural light to flow in. It is the perfect place to host any event from black tie to down home. For more intimate gatherings, consider the 40-person classroom or you can rent the entire hall for a large event.
