Soldotna Visitor Center

We are a thriving community located on the world-famous Kenai River, the most popular sport fishing destination in Alaska. These glacier blue waters are home to some of the best runs of King, Sockeye, and Coho salmon, as well as trophy-sized Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. Soldotna has more river city parks than anywhere in Alaska, with over 250 campsites, 1 mile of elevated boardwalk, 50 sets of river access stairs, and 724 acres of parkland along the banks of the river. We're within easy driving distance of Seward, Kenai, and Homer, and offer all the modern services that you expect. Anchorage is a beautiful, scenic 3-hour drive or a quick 20-minute commuter flight away. Soldotna is the place for your accessible Alaskan adventure, right at your doorstep.
