After you are picked up from your Fairbanks area hotel you will join a small group of adventurers and typically travel up to 100 miles away from Fairbanks to searching for prime viewing of the Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights. The location will vary from night to night depending on the weather, we go to the locations with the best forecast on any night and are very successful at bring the northern light to you. Your guide will give you valuable information on how to take pictures and photograph the aurora! don't forget to bring gear for the trip. Suggestions on what to bring are on our website! www.fairbanksauroratours.com Our season runs from August 21st through April 21st annually. Our favorite time of year to view the aurora is in early to mid-April.
