A scenic drive north of Fairbanks quickly immerses you into the truly Alaskan world of Black Spruce Dog Sledding. We are open year-round, offering authentic, interactive mushing tours with panoramic views of the vast Alaskan wilderness, and unparalleled northern lights / aurora viewing. On your tour you'll get to spend lots of hands-on time with our long-distance racing sled dogs. We'll teach you how to harness and hook up the dogs, then take you on an unforgettable dog sled ride. You'll even get a chance to try driving a dog sled! During no-snow times of year, we use a 5-passenger ATV for mushing instead. In summer and fall, our maximum tour group size is five people. In winter, tours are private and limited to groups of four people. Please make reservations at least 24 hours in advance.
