Get up-close with Alaska’s wildlife, and SAVE!

Location: Girdwood

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is offering a special rate of $15 for Alaska residents this summer! Bonus, kids 6 and under are FREE! The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, research and quality animal care.

AWCC is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Guests will have one hour to enjoy the center if arriving at 5pm. AWCC is an outdoor facility and an excellent option for something to do while social distancing. Guests can come do a self-tour in their own vehicles or enjoy some fresh Alaska air as they walk or bike the 1.5-mile loop around the facility.

Be sure to check out AWCC's free Daily Educational Programs while visiting the sanctuary! AWCC also offers Walk on the Wild Side Tours, Moose Encounters and Bear Encounters.
