With more than 21 hours of sunlight on the official solstice, Fairbanks' most active weekend of the year gets underway on June 20. By the time the dust settles, Fairbanks will have seen a host of activities ranging from the Midnight Sun Baseball Game to the Midnight Sun Run, which welcomes more than 3,000 runners and walkers.
