Perched on a riverbank at the border of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, this versatile boat in tent camp is home for sport fishing and adventure lovers alike. Overlooking the serene Moose River and Kenai Mountains, it is a perfect location for accessing the myriad of lakes, streams, trails and fjords of the Kenai Peninsula.
The comfortable day lodge and dining room is the perfect gathering spot for evening fly tying, card games, relaxing, or campfire conversation. Not to be confused with our deluxe Great Alaska Adventures lodge, the tent camp’s “Glamping” accommodations feature cozy high wall canvas tents, real beds with mattresses, propane heat and light along with wonderful evening camaraderie.
Breakfasts and dinners are served at the camp, with lunch “on the trail” as you and your guide and a few new friends raft, hike, bike, fish, kayak and view bears of the National Parks, Forests and Wildlife Refuges. Perfect for families (children half price) and travelers looking for more aggressive and affordable experiences in Alaska.
Safari Camp trips of 3 to 7 days can stand alone or be combined with stays at the deluxe lodge and Bear Camp. Safari Camp is included on our Backcountry “Glamping” Itineraries.
