The Denali Backcountry Adventure is a full day narrated exploration along the restricted 92-mile Denali Park Road to the exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. After arriving at the lodge, enjoy the Grand Buffet Lunch, and try your luck at gold panning, or take a nature walk. The evening return trip offers a different perspective, and more wildlife viewing opportunities.

Our trained naturalist Guide/Driver provides natural history interpretation along the way, helping guests search for bears, moose, caribou and other wildlife while pointing out the biology and geology of the region. We stop along the way for photography and take several rest stops where guests can stretch their legs. Snacks and drinks are also provided.
