Geoff agrees there's no better way to experience Juneau than looking down on the maze of narrow streets lined with old storefronts and quaint, early 19th century houses. Juneau offers limitless hiking opportunities, taking you through breathtaking greens of the Tongass National Forest, bright muskeg, peat-laden meadows and panoramic views of nearby glaciers stretching out to the sea.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

A quick adventure through Alaska's Inside Passage: Just a 1.5-hour-flight from Seattle lands you in Ketchikan, where impressive totems and Native culture are top attractions. The Alaska Marine Highway provides a convenient and affordable way to travel between the communities of the Inside Passage — visit Wrangell to view wildlife; then continue on to Petersburg, a classic fishing town known as Little Norway and next to Alaska’s capital city of Juneau to visit one of the impressive museums or take the tram to the top of Mount Roberts for an eagle’s eye view of the surrounding area:
