Good Fishing Locations:

Charley River

Accessible by plane, it is rated excellent to good for grayling but you can also catch king, chum and coho salmon.

Porcupine River

Accessible by air or boat from Fort Yukon. Fish that are commonly caught are northern pike and arctic grayling.

Rainbow Lake

Accessible by plane it is located across from Tanana River. Rated for excellent rainbow trout fishing.

Wien Lake

Fly in lake located 60 miles south of the Yukon River. Rated for good northern pike fishing.
Managed Areas:
There are 11 managed sportfishing areas in Alaska, each with varying possession
